Works with: Audit files (XAF, SAF-T) Accounting software integrations RGS reference chart of accounts Dutch reporting rules (Title 9 Book 2 DCC)

Features

Everything for the compilation, in one dossier

No more loose exports and spreadsheets. Every financial year is a dossier containing your client's complete bookkeeping.

Import the bookkeeping

Upload an audit file such as XAF or SAF-T, or connect your client's accounting software. Ledger accounts, journal entries and periods are ready straight away.

Trial balance

Opening balances, movements and closing balances per ledger account, with inactive accounts hidden in one click.

RGS classification with AI

Missing RGS codes are suggested with a confidence score. Doubtful cases are flagged for review.

Annual financial statements

The balance sheet and profit and loss account are built from the data in the dossier, as a draft for you to finish.

Writing the notes

An editor with headings, lists and tables. Start from standard notes and put them in the order you want.

Separated per firm

Clients, entities and dossiers are strictly separated per organisation. Nobody outside your firm sees your dossiers.

How it works

Draft annual financial statements in three steps

  1. 01

    Add the client and entity

Register the client with the entities you prepare annual financial statements for.

  2. 02

    Import the bookkeeping

Upload an audit file or connect the accounting software. Compilaid builds the dossier and the trial balance for the financial year.

  3. 03

    Review and explain

Analyse the figures, let the AI draft the notes and finish the annual financial statements.

AI assistant

A writing assistant that knows the figures

The assistant in the notes editor has the trial balance of the dossier at hand. So it writes about your client's amounts, not about averages.

  • Write a draft. Enter a title and get a note with a breakdown table.
  • Rewrite. Improve, shorten or make more formal, or give your own instruction.
  • Check against the figures. Compares amounts and totals in the text with the bookkeeping.
  • Autocomplete while typing. Suggestions appear in grey; accept them with Tab.

Client data stays inside Compilaid

The language model runs inside Compilaid itself. Your clients' bookkeeping is not sent to external AI services.

The AI makes suggestions; you review them. Nothing goes into the annual financial statements unless you insert it yourself.

Frequently asked questions

What is an entity?

An entity is a business you prepare annual financial statements for, such as a private limited company or a sole proprietorship. A client can have several entities, for example a holding company and an operating company.

How do I get my client's bookkeeping into Compilaid?

Upload an audit file exported from the accounting software, such as XAF or SAF-T, or connect the accounting software directly so the transactions are retrieved through its API.

Where do my clients' figures go when I use the AI?

Nowhere. The language model runs inside Compilaid itself; client data is not sent to external AI services.

Does the AI replace the accountant?

No. The AI makes suggestions: a draft text, a rewritten paragraph or a check of the amounts. You review and decide what goes into the annual financial statements.
